Tuner
The Otto Tuners 64 cps and 128 cps
The Otto tuners are used for relaxation, the sound vibrates into the bones for relaxation. The Otto Tuners offered at Accelerated Wellness are tuned to the frequencies of 64cps and 128cps. They vibrate at a low pitch and due to their weighted ends the sound lasts longer than that of regular tuning forks. Their frequencies are based on an 8 cps fundamental tone raised in octaves (i.e. 8 cps, 16 cps, 32 cps, 64 cps, 128 cps.) The 8 cps fundamental, which based on the pulsation of the planet earth, is the generating tone for all our tuning forks.
Both 64 and 128 are used on the body to help align your physical structure, the Otto Tuners resonate the bones, stimulates the nerves and releases tension from the body. Vibrating your bones with deep earth tones, the Otto Tuners bring a sense of deep relaxation and soothing peace. They relieve muscle tension, spasms, pain, and improves circulation by relaxing constricting muscle tissue and causing increased blood flow.
The 64 Otto Tuner is especially effective when placed on the lower lumbar vertebrae, sacrum and coccyx. Instructions for using the Otto Tuners
The Solfeggio Frequencies Forks
There are two ways to sound
your tuning forks. The first way is to
gently hold them by the stems and firmly tap the end of a tuning fork on the
hockey puck (provided with Solfeggio Set) or tapping pad.
This will create a pure tone and is excellent for deep listening.
Bring the two-prong part of the forks about an inch away from each ear
and listen to the quality of tone. Remember
that your tuning forks are musical instruments.
The second way is to hold the
tuning forks by the stems and tap them together two times to create an audible
sound with overtones. This sound is good
for moving around the body in the energy field.
You can adjust the volume by the strength of your tap.
Experiment with getting different sounds.
When you move the tuning forks quickly they will create a beautiful
ringing overtone.
Remember that the tuning forks are musical instruments that need your expression and creativity to be empowered. Be creative and enjoy!
Instructions for the Om tuning fork
Hold your Om tuning fork by the
stem between your thumb and first finger. Do
not apply a lot of pressure. Gently tap
the weights on your knees or palm of your hands.
This will set the weights in motion and create a clear, deep and
sustained tone. Bring the double-pronged
side of the OM fork about an inch from your ear(s) and adjust the distance for
volume.
You can use your Om fork directly on the body and acupressure points by tapping your fork in the same way. With the finger or thumb of your free hand, locate the spot on the body where you want to place the tuning fork, then tap your fork and press the single end of the fork’s stem onto the spot. Make a firm contact and hold the tuning fork until you feel the vibrations stop. For example, tap the Om fork and press it to your sternum. Close your eyes and feel the vibration. Another way to use your Om fork during bodywork sessions is to apply it to the spinal processes of the back and/or directly onto the sacrum (or any bone in the body you wish to bring the harmonic resonance of the Om vibration.)
Instructions for Using the 64, 128
For using the 64 and 128
Otto Tuners with bones and ligament, hold the forks by the stem and gently tap
them on your knee or meaty portion of the palm of one hand.
With the finger or thumb of your free hand locate the spot on the body
where you want to place the tuning fork. Press
the end of the stem of the tuning fork onto the spot.
Make a firm contact and hold the tuning fork until you feel the
vibrations stop.
For listening, hold the 64 and 128 Otto Tuners by the stem and gently tap the weights on your knees or tapping pad. Bring the tuning fork(s) to your ears and adjust the distance by tone. Hold one fork about an inch from your left ear and one an inch from to the right ear. This creates a long sustained pitch. This works well with the 128 and Otto. The 64 Otto may also be used in this manner. When tapping the 64 Otto, gently tap the body (the weighted portion) of the tuning fork on your palm. This will set the weights in motion and create a pure tone.

with others that church authorities say were lost centuries ago. The chants and
their special tones were believed to impart tremendous spiritual blessings when
sung in harmony during religious masses.
