Years ago, when I first became involved with the healing arts, I just
offered Swedish Massage and Foot Reflexology. Over the years, I have
taken numerous workshops on a variety of healing modalities, and
depending on your problem, may incorporate more than one technique to
help you with your unique problem.
Due
to the tremendous benefits I personally received from Colon Hydrotherapy, I
decided to receive extensive training in this healing modality and make it
available.

Finally, in addition to hands on bodywork modalities, colon hydrotherapy and

different therapies and services offered.
The
Therapies/Services described below or on other pages are not magic bullets
or cure alls. A healthy balanced body is the result of a well-rounded
program of exercise and proper diet. Health is everything we do, say, hear,
see, and eat. Therapies are only tools to help restore balance in the
body. Healthy eating habits, nutritional supplementation, and a positive
open mind are also recommended to restore the body to balance.

This technique aims to affect the various layers of fascia that support

InfraRed Therapy (TheraSauna dry
infrared sauna)
Sauna sessions can be a stand alone therapy or may be done in
conjunction with any of the other therapies offered at Accelerated Wellness. The
TheraSauna uses
a FAR Infrared
radiant heat source similar to those used by doctors and physical therapists. The
health benefits attributed to dry infrared radiant heat are incredible and
include but are not limited to:

Muscle Testing
Simple Explanation:
Muscle testing works on the assumption that the body
is an electrical piece of equipment, which is controlled by incredibly
complex computer, namely the brain. The brain is continually in
communication with each of the 639 muscle in the body. If a muscle is
electrically in balance, it is possible to measure a constant electrical
signal from the brain to the muscle and back again, much the same as two
faxes “talking” to each other. However, when the body is overstressed
(through a chemical, structural, emotional or electrical cause) the
electrical signals in one or more muscles go weak. It is like a fuse in your
fuse box blowing. The body figures it is better to blow a fuse than to blow
